The High Commissioner of India to Tanzania, Mr. Bishwadip Dey, along with Second Secretary Mr. Rajnish Kumar, held a meeting with Dr. Anna P. Makakala, Commissioner General of Immigration, and senior officials of the Tanzanian Immigration Department.
During the meeting, both sides discussed areas of bilateral cooperation, with a focus on capacity building, training facilitation, and institutional collaboration in the field of immigration. The exchange of views highlighted opportunities to enhance skills, share best practices, and strengthen people-to-people and administrative linkages.
The discussions reaffirmed the strong, friendly, and longstanding relations between India and Tanzania, reflecting the shared commitment of both countries to deepen cooperation and partnership across key sectors.
