Ricardo Daniel Delgado Muñoz, Head of Economic Affairs at the Embajada de México en India, participated in a high-level Round Table Conference on Seafood Promotion organized by the Department of Fisheries India in New Delhi.
The conference brought together representatives from various embassies, industry stakeholders, and research institutions to explore opportunities for international collaboration in the seafood sector. During the discussions, Mr. Delgado Muñoz highlighted Mexico’s interest in expanding bilateral cooperation with India in areas such as seafood trade, sustainable aquaculture practices, and joint research and development initiatives with R&D centers from both countries.
The engagement reflects a growing focus on strengthening Mexico–India economic ties, particularly in the agri-food and fisheries sectors, and underscores the potential for knowledge exchange, technology transfer, and investment partnerships between the two nations’ seafood industries.
