French Transport Minister Visits Airbus Pilot Training Centre in Delhi, Strengthening Indo-French Aviation Ties

New Delhi – French Minister for Transport, Philippe Tabarot, visited the Airbus pilot training centre in Delhi this week, highlighting the growing collaboration between France and India in the civil aviation sector. During his visit, Minister Tabarot engaged with the Airbus team and explored state-of-the-art flight simulators, underscoring the importance of advanced training in supporting India’s rapidly expanding aviation industry.

The visit included discussions with key stakeholders, including representatives from the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and executives from Air India. The minister also met Indian political leaders, including Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, to further strengthen bilateral ties in aviation and technology.

Minister Tabarot praised the enduring Franco-Indian partnership in civil aviation and emphasized the potential for collaboration in areas such as pilot training, sustainable aviation technologies, and aviation safety standards. The visit reflects France’s continued commitment to supporting India’s aviation sector amid its rapid growth and modernization.
