The town of Al-Eizariya, located southeast of occupied Jerusalem, was once again shaken by the sound of gunfire on Friday evening when Israeli police forces suddenly opened fire on civilians. In this incident, a 15-year-old Palestinian teenager, Mustafa Abu Madkour, was seriously injured.
According to the Jerusalem Governorate, a special unit of the Israeli police entered Al-Eizariya in a civilian vehicle. Near the Qanater area, the police opened heavy fire targeting a group of civilians. During this shooting, Mustafa Abu Madkour, a resident of Abu Dis, was hit by bullets. He suffered severe bleeding, and his condition became extremely critical.
After the incident, the situation became even more serious when Israeli soldiers prevented ambulance crews and local residents from reaching the injured teenager. According to the Jerusalem Governorate, Mustafa was unable to receive medical assistance for more than an hour. After a considerable delay, an ambulance team was finally able to reach the scene. Following first aid, the injured teenager was taken to Palestine Hospital in Ramallah, where his condition was reported to be critical.
