A Palestinian civilian was killed on Monday morning in Israeli gunfire in the Ash-Shuja’iyya area of Gaza City. The incident occurred at a time when repeated violations of the ceasefire are being reported across various parts of the Gaza Strip.
According to medical sources, a civilian was shot during an Israeli attack in the Ash-Shuja’iyya area, resulting in his death at the scene. Following the incident, an atmosphere of fear and tension has gripped the area.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces carried out artillery shelling in various areas of the Gaza Strip and opened heavy fire at multiple locations. Local sources reported that the eastern areas of Khan Yunis and Rafah in southern Gaza were targeted in the shelling.
The situation became even more serious when Israeli gunboats opened machine-gun fire toward the coastal waters of Gaza City. At the same time, artillery shells were fired at the eastern outskirts of Gaza City.
It is noteworthy that despite the ceasefire agreement coming into effect on October 10, 2025, the violence has not ceased. Since the agreement became effective, approximately 618 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks, including 194 children and 84 women. In addition, 1,602 people have been injured.
These continuing incidents have raised serious questions about the credibility of the ceasefire and have further deepened concerns about instability in the region.
