Israeli airstrike on the Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp in Lebanon, three killed.

Beirut: Chaos erupted on Friday evening in the Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp in Lebanon when Israeli forces carried out an airstrike targeting a site inside the camp. Three people were killed in the attack, while several others are reported to have been injured.

According to the Lebanese National News Agency, an Israeli drone fired three missiles at the Hittin area of the camp. The attack was carried out targeting the headquarters of the Joint Security Force.

According to local Lebanese sources, the missile strike caused heavy damage in the area and claimed the lives of three people. The injured were taken to nearby locations for treatment.

On the other hand, the Israeli military has claimed that the operation was carried out against a site in southern Lebanon that was being used by Hamas members.

Following the attack that took place on Friday evening, an atmosphere of tension prevails in the camp and surrounding areas.
