Amid strict restrictions, more than 70,000 people offered Taraweeh prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque

Occupied Jerusalem: On the 11th night of the holy month of Ramadan, Al-Aqsa Mosque once again became a major center of faith, as thousands of Muslim worshippers arrived to offer Isha and Taraweeh prayers despite strict security restrictions. According to the Islamic Waqf administration, approximately 70,000 Palestinian citizens were able to reach the mosque.

According to media reports, Israeli occupation police imposed strict security measures and movement restrictions in Jerusalem, particularly in the Old City and its surrounding areas. As a result of these measures, many Palestinians from the West Bank were prevented from entering the holy city, preventing a large number of people from reaching Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Despite this, thousands of people overcame all obstacles and offered prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque. The scene reflected the religious and spiritual significance of the mosque during the month of Ramadan.

Meanwhile, the men and women who were barred or exiled from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque did not give up. Instead, they offered the night prayers in the streets of Jerusalem, reflecting their deep religious faith and devotion.

This development shows that despite restrictions and security measures, a large number of Palestinian Muslims remain committed to worshipping at Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan.
