Despite the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the cycle of violence continues. On Friday, even on the 204th day, artillery attacks and heavy gunfire were reported in several areas, further escalating tensions in the region.
As soon as morning broke, the northwestern parts of Rafah were repeatedly targeted. Meanwhile, during the night, intense shelling also took place in the eastern part of the Al-Zeitoun area in Gaza City and east of the Jabalia region in northern Gaza. Along with these attacks, there were also reports of continuous gunfire from military vehicles.
In the actions that took place on Thursday, four Palestinians were killed, while several others were injured. Airstrikes and gunfire in different areas have further heightened concerns about the safety of civilians.
According to the data, since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, 2025, around 824 people have lost their lives so far. During this period, 2,316 people have been injured, while 764 bodies have been recovered from the rubble.
Meanwhile, since the attacks that began on October 7, 2023, the total death toll has reached 72,601, and 172,419 people have been injured.
The continuation of these incidents makes it clear that, despite the ceasefire, the situation on the ground remains extremely fragile, and it is having a deep impact on ordinary people.
