A Palestinian youth was killed in Israeli gunfire in the Jenin refugee camp, while tensions escalated in several areas of the West Bank.

On Saturday, an operation by Israeli occupation forces in the Jenin refugee camp once again heightened tensions across the region. According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, 34-year-old Nour al-Din Fayyad was killed in gunfire by Israeli soldiers. Reports said that Israeli troops entered the Jenin refugee camp and suddenly opened fire, killing Fayyad on the spot. Later, a Red Crescent team took custody of his body.

Following the incident, an atmosphere of fear and tension spread throughout the area. According to local sources, the ongoing operations by Israeli soldiers have created a state of panic among the residents of the camp.

Meanwhile, in the town of Al-Dhahiriya on Friday evening, a Jewish extremist settler shot and injured a Palestinian civilian. According to the Red Crescent, the victim was shot in the thigh, after which a medical team arrived at the scene and provided first aid.

During the same period, Israeli forces also carried out a late-night raid in the Al-Dheisheh refugee camp. During the military patrol, clashes broke out between local youths and Israeli forces. A similar situation was seen in the town of Beit Fajjar, where confrontations took place between youths and soldiers.

Meanwhile, in the western area of the village of Shuqba, a group of settlers carried out an attack, setting two vehicles on fire and damaging four other vehicles. The attackers also vandalized two agricultural structures. Reports said that Palestinian civilians were inside these structures at the time. The settlers later withdrew from the area, but at the same time Israeli forces began raiding the same part of the village.
