Major Israeli military operation in the West Bank: Raids conducted in several cities and refugee camps, tensions rise across dozens of areas.

West Bank: Early Friday morning, Israeli occupation forces carried out a large-scale military operation across various areas of the occupied West Bank, raiding several cities, towns, and refugee camps. During the operation, homes were searched and several Palestinians were arrested.

According to reports, Israeli forces carried out raid operations in Al-Dhahiriya and Beit Ummar in the Al-Khalil (Hebron) region, Tuqu’ southeast of Bethlehem, and Hizma north of occupied Jerusalem.

In the Nablus area, Israeli soldiers entered the Balata and Askar refugee camps and arrested several young men. In addition, arrests were also reported in Balata Camp and in the town of Qabalan, located southeast of Nablus.

Meanwhile, in the Jenin area, Israeli forces raided homes in the village of Al-Mughayyir and the Al-Zahra neighborhood. Military operations were also carried out in the towns of Al-Jadida, Siris, and Sanur. In addition, reports emerged of Israeli forces entering the town of Bruqin, located west of Salfit, and carrying out arrests there.

During the same period, several attacks by Israeli settlers were also reported. According to reports, stones were thrown at Palestinian vehicles in the Wadi al-Sha’er area, located between the villages of Al-Lubban al-Sharqiya and the city of Salfit. Meanwhile, Israeli forces also entered Jericho and the Aqabat Jaber Refugee Camp, although no arrests were reported there.

In separate incidents, Israeli settlers set fire to Palestinian land near the village of Beitin, located northeast of Ramallah. Additionally, incidents of stone-throwing at Palestinian vehicles were reported in the Wadi al-Sha’er area.

Following these incidents, a tense atmosphere has prevailed across several areas of the West Bank.
