New Delhi, Russia’s Ambassador to India, Denis Alipov, met with Jawed Ashraf, Chairman of the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), on June 12 to discuss measures aimed at strengthening bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
During the meeting, the two sides explored opportunities to expand collaboration through greater mutual participation in exhibitions, trade fairs, and congress events. A key focus of the discussions was the inaugural INNOPROM-India exhibition, scheduled to take place in New Delhi from September 9 to 11 under the auspices of the Ministries of Industry and Trade of both Russia and India.
The event is expected to serve as a major platform for enhancing industrial partnerships and fostering business ties between the two countries.
Russian Trade Representative in India, Andrey Sobolev, also attended the meeting.
