ALIGARH, Mr. Abdullah Imran, a Research Scholar in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Business Management, Aligarh Muslim University, presented a research paper at the ICSSR-sponsored two-day International Conference on “Reimagining Higher Education for Sustainability: Quality and Innovative Financing Practices in India and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Countries,” organised by the Centre for West Asian Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
Working under the supervision of Dr. Mohd. Shamsuzzama, Mr. Imran presented a paper titled “UPI-Driven Financial Inclusion: Reimagining Sustainable Higher Education in India.” The study examined the role of the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) in advancing financial inclusion and explored how digital payment systems can enhance accessibility, affordability, transparency, and sustainability in India’s higher education sector.
Prof. Akram A. Khan, Chairperson, Department of Agricultural Economics and Business Management, congratulated Mr. Imran on his successful presentation and appreciated his research contribution, wishing him continued success in his academic pursuits.
