Remarkable Achievement: Kashmir School Students Develop Innovative Model Turning Waste into Electricity, Pure Air, and Compost

Srinagar: Setting an inspiring example in environmental conservation and green innovation, two school students from Jammu & Kashmir have developed a multipurpose waste-to-energy model. The project offers a scientific and sustainable solution to modern waste management while simultaneously generating clean energy.

The hallmark of this innovative model is its ability to generate electricity from waste materials. To ensure environmental safety, the system incorporates an integrated air purification mechanism to filter emissions. Furthermore, instead of discarding the residual ash, the model repurposes it into nutrient-rich organic fertilizer suitable for agricultural use.

Key Highlights of the 3-in-1 Model:

  • Power Generation: Converts municipal waste into usable electricity.
  • Pollution Control: Built-in air purification system prevents air pollution during processing.
  • Zero-Waste Recycling: Repurposes residual ash into eco-friendly compost for farming.

The initiative has garnered widespread appreciation on social media, with experts hailing it as a promising step toward advancing sustainable development, clean energy, and effective waste management solutions.
