A young hockey player from Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir, is making headlines with an inspiring achievement. Ishrat Jan, a player from the Khelo India Hockey Centre in Baramulla, has been selected to represent Jammu and Kashmir in the junior women’s hockey team.
Ishrat will take part in the 16th Hockey India Junior Women National Championship 2026, scheduled to be held in Pune, Maharashtra, from August 12 to 23, 2026.
