Lithuania and Bangladesh are exploring new opportunities to strengthen their commercial and economic partnership. During a warm and constructive meeting, Lithuania’s representative held discussions with Bangladesh’s Commerce Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir on ways to expand bilateral trade and business cooperation.

The talks also focused on the future of trade relations between Bangladesh and the European Union, with both sides highlighting the importance of creating greater opportunities for businesses and strengthening economic engagement.
The meeting reflects growing interest in deepening Lithuania-Bangladesh commercial ties while also exploring Bangladesh’s evolving trade relationship with the EU.
