West Bank: Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out fresh raids and arrests across several areas of the West Bank early Saturday, injuring two Palestinians, including a 15-year-old boy, during a raid on al-Amari refugee camp in al-Bireh.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, its crews treated two Palestinians who sustained live-fire injuries during the raid. The 15-year-old boy was shot in the back, while a young man was shot in the foot. Both were taken to a hospital for treatment.
During the raid on al-Amari refugee camp, Israeli forces also arrested two young men. Another young man was arrested during a separate raid on the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah.
Israeli forces also closed the western entrance to the village of al-Mughayyir and fired tear gas toward Palestinian vehicles. Shepherds in the area were also detained.
In Jenin, Israeli forces raided the town of Sanur, south of the city, where they arrested two young men and searched several Palestinian homes.
The raids also targeted Qalandia refugee camp and the town of al-Qubeiba, north of occupied Jerusalem.
Further Israeli raids were reported in Bruqin, west of Salfit; Beit Dajan village, east of Nablus; and the city of Jericho.
