Seven AMU Students Get Placement by Bengaluru-Based Semiconductor Company

ALIGARH, May 8: Seven more students of Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET), Aligarh Muslim University, have been selected by M/s Zia Semiconductor Private Limited, Bengaluru, during its campus recruitment drive for the 2026 batch.
In the second phase of the online recruitment drive, the company selected seven additional candidates with an annual package of Rs 4.50 lakh. With these selections, the total number of students selected by Zia Semiconductor from ZHCET has now risen to 16.
The selected students are Mohd Adil (B.Tech. Electrical), Misbahuddin Hashmi (B.Tech. Electronics), Mohammad Adeem Raza Hashmi, Zaif and Monish Kabiri (B.Tech. Electronics), Yugal Saxena (B.Tech. Electronics – VLSI and Embedded Systems), and Mohshina (M.Tech. Electrical – Instrumentation and Control).
The recruitment process included online technical and aptitude tests followed by technical group discussions and HR interviews. Around 60 students were shortlisted during the drive.
According to the company’s career progression structure, the compensation package may increase from Rs 4.50 lakh per annum in the first year to a maximum of Rs 20 lakh per annum over four years based on performance and experience.
The recruiting team appreciated the academic standards of ZHCET and the quality of students.
Principal of ZHCET, Prof Mohammad Muzammil, and Training and Placement Incharge Dr Moina Athar congratulated the selected students and wished them success in their professional careers.
