ALIGARH, The Centre for Skill Development and Career Planning, Aligarh Muslim University, organized a Skill Demonstration Session on Professional Muslim Bridal Makeup for Summer Events for trainees enrolled in its Beauty Courses.
The session was conducted by beauty expert Ms Muskan Siddiqui of IK International Beauty Academy, with product support from Recode Studio Pro. Participants received hands-on guidance on summer skincare, bridal makeup preparation, product selection, professional makeup techniques, and managing makeup challenges during hot and humid weather conditions.
The programme particularly benefited trainees associated with the Centre’s Earn While Learn initiative, as well as those working in beauty parlours and freelance assignments during the ongoing wedding season.
Prof. Masud Anwar Alavi, Director of the Centre and Principal, Women’s College, emphasized that such programmes enhance employability, entrepreneurship and professional skills among students. Dr Samreen Hasan Khan, Student Counsellor, encouraged participants to continuously upgrade their skills and explore opportunities for self-employment.
The event was supported by Beauty Course trainers Ms Raj Kumari Sharma (Versha), Ms Momina Athar and Ms Lubna Ghayas, along with Centre staff members Ms Shaheen Begum and Ms Fatima Rehman.
A total of 72 students from Beauty Culture, Skin Care, Hair Care and Advanced Beauty Courses participated in the programme and actively interacted with the trainer during the demonstration and query-resolution session.
