New Delhi, June 20: Counsellor of the Russian Embassy in India, Yulia Aryaeva, attended the opening of Russian artist Yulia Usmanova’s exhibition, A Place Called Home, at the Main Art Gallery of Bikaner House on June 18.

The exhibition showcases works that blend the traditions of the Russian art school with a nuanced understanding of Indian culture, reflecting the artist’s deep and enduring connection with India.

Speaking on the significance of the exhibition, organisers highlighted that the artworks underscore the strong cultural ties between Russia and India, which extend beyond friendship and strategic partnership to encompass shared values, mutual respect, and an appreciation of each other’s history and heritage.
The opening ceremony was attended by members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of the cultural community, artists, and collectors.

The exhibition will remain open to visitors from June 20 to June 23 at the Main Art Gallery, Bikaner House, New Delhi.
