Ethiopia’s Deputy Head of Mission, Ambassador Molalign Asfaw, spoke at the India SME Forum’s business conclave in New Delhi on June 27, 2025, International MSME Day.
He highlighted Ethiopia’s business-friendly environment, outlined important investment sectors, and emphasized the country’s substantial macroeconomic reforms.
Ambassador Asfaw encouraged Indian investors to look into Ethiopian opportunities and reiterated Ethiopia’s commitment to expanding economic cooperation with India in ways that benefit both countries.
To emphasize the critical role that micro, small, and medium-sized businesses play in promoting innovation, job creation, and economic growth, the conclave brought together investors, business executives, policymakers, and members of the diplomatic corps.
The event took place on June 27, 2025, in New Delhi, as part of World MSME Day.
