The second edition of the Nordic-India Dialogue was hosted in Iceland’s capital city, Reykjavík, on September 4–5, 2025. The event brought together leaders from diverse sectors to discuss Nordic–India cooperation on key global challenges.
The agenda covered a wide range of important topics, including security and Arctic governance, maritime collaboration, trade, innovation, and sustainability. High-level speakers included Shri Kirti Vardhan Singh, India’s Minister of State for External Affairs and Environment, as well as Icelandic leaders, both past and present.
The Embassy of Iceland in New Delhi was represented by Tinna Sveinsdóttir, Deputy Chief of Mission, who underlined the importance of sustained dialogue and cooperation between India and the Nordic countries. She noted that the Dialogue serves as a vital platform for mutual understanding, collaboration, and for preparing joint responses to pressing challenges such as climate change, sustainable energy, and security.
The event was jointly organized by Nordic international institutes, the Ananta Centre in India, and the Iceland-India Business Cooperation, with support from the Embassy of India in Reykjavík.
