ALIGARH, December 17: Prof. Farhan Ahmad Khan of the Department of Pharmacology, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, has been awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the British Pharmacological Society (BPS), United Kingdom.
Founded in 1931, the British Pharmacological Society is an internationally recognised professional body committed to the advancement of pharmacological science, education and clinical practice. The Fellowship is conferred in recognition of sustained academic excellence, professional distinction and significant contributions to the field of pharmacology.
Congratulating Prof. Khan on the achievement, Prof. Syed Ziaur Rahman, Chairperson of the Department of Pharmacology, described the honour as a proud moment for the department and the university.
