On the occasion of Bhutan’s National Day, France conveyed its warmest greetings and best wishes to the people of Bhutan and the Royal Government, reaffirming the spirit of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
In a message shared to mark the national celebration, Ambassador of France to Bhutan, Thierry Mathou, extended heartfelt congratulations, wishing Bhutan continued peace, prosperity, and success in the year ahead. “Tashi Delek and best wishes for the year ahead,” the Ambassador stated, underscoring France’s respect for Bhutan’s rich cultural heritage and its commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.
The message was shared in collaboration with the Consulate General of France in Calcutta and acknowledged key Bhutanese institutions and leadership, including Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, Bhutan Broadcasting Service (BBS), and Kuensel, Bhutan’s national newspaper.
