Mumbai, May 5 — Czech Republic Ambassador Dr. Eliška Žigová met Mr. Abhishek Jadhav, Officer on Special Duty to the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, to discuss ways to strengthen political cooperation and expand economic opportunities between the Czech Republic and India.
The meeting focused on building stronger partnerships and exploring investment opportunities for Czech companies in Maharashtra, one of India’s key economic regions. Both sides showed interest in deepening collaboration across different sectors.
The interaction also included a symbolic gesture described as “mango diplomacy,” highlighting India’s rich agricultural heritage and the friendly ties between the two countries.
