Russian Embassy Diplomats Join Roundtable Ahead of Global Impact Forum in Mumbai

Diplomats from the Russian Embassy in India participated in a roundtable discussion at the Constitutional Club of India on August 17, ahead of the Second Global Impact Forum on “Civilisational Legacy,” scheduled to be held in Mumbai on September 5–6.

The Indian side at the discussion was represented by Madhish Parikh, Founding Director of the BRICS Youth Alliance, and Janhavi Pawar, Director of AP Globale.

Maria Kudriashova, Second Secretary at the Russian Embassy, highlighted key areas of cooperation between Russia and India. She also spoke about Russia’s approach to strengthening partnerships within the BRICS framework.

The upcoming Global Impact Forum is expected to bring together representatives from government and public institutions, business and academia, along with cultural figures. Discussions will focus on the importance of civilisational heritage and intercultural dialogue in strengthening relations among BRICS countries.

A special Russia-India session will also be part of the programme, with discussions focusing on literature, classical music and cinema, further highlighting the cultural dimension of India-Russia relations.
