Escalating Attacks in Lebanon: 1,318 People Killed, Situation Critical

Beirut: According to media reports, ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanon since March 2 have resulted in 1,318 deaths and 3,935 injuries so far. This information was released by Lebanon’s Ministry of Health in its latest report.

The report states that in just the past 24 hours, 50 people have been killed and 185 injured. This clearly shows that the attacks are intensifying, with multiple areas being targeted.

Meanwhile, the situation on the ground remains tense. Hezbollah has claimed that it targeted Israeli military positions using artillery and drones. Attacks were reportedly carried out in areas such as Al-Qawzah and Al-Qantara.

The conflict now appears to be gradually spreading across a wider region. The report also mentions that developments related to Iran are influencing the situation. Hezbollah stated that it launched rockets toward Israel in response to the killing of Iran’s former Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei. In addition, despite a ceasefire in November 2024, attacks have continued.

With the violence continuing to escalate, there are growing concerns that conditions in Lebanon may deteriorate further. The rising death toll and ongoing strikes indicate that the situation could become even more serious.
