New Delhi: Russia’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Co-Chairman of the Russia–India Intergovernmental Commission, Denis Manturov, has arrived in India on an official working visit aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation.
During his visit, Manturov is scheduled to hold a series of high-level meetings in New Delhi, where discussions will focus on expanding trade, economic, scientific, technical, and cultural collaboration between the two countries.
According to Manturov, the primary agenda of the Intergovernmental Commission is to deepen trade and economic engagement, ensure stability in mutual payment systems and logistics chains, and improve market access for both nations. The talks will also explore new investment opportunities and joint projects.
He further highlighted that both sides will review concrete steps to implement the Economic Cooperation Program through 2030, adopted in December 2025, while also addressing challenges arising from the current global situation.
The visit is seen as a significant step toward reinforcing the strategic partnership between India and Russia amid evolving global economic dynamics.
